Our spring fundraiser was a stunning success. We would like to thank all the attendees and our sponsors for their support. But most importantly we would like to congratulate the kids. Be sure to check out the pictures of the banquet.
Since 2003 the “Boys to Men†enrichment program has aided over four-hundred inner city male youths from the African-American and Latino communities.

The T.Y.M.E. Foundation
The T.Y.M.E. Foundation is an organization based on the principle of teaching young men excellence. “Boys to Men” is the T.Y.M.E Foundations’ youth outreach program centered at LAUSD’s John Muir Middle School that serves the metro Los Angeles area. The enrichment program was founded on three principles: scholastic achievement through tutoring; character building through extra-curricular activities and events; and personal development through counseling, leadership seminars,
and community service. Our goal is to assist inner city male youths in developing good judgment, self-esteem, integrity, and self-sufficiency as they matriculate from boys to young men.

Boys To Men Enrichment Program
"Boys to Men" is an enrichment program based on three principles: tutoring, personal development, and extracurricular activities.
- Education is the cornerstone of growth needed throughout life, thus our program offers personal tutoring to assist in this investment.
- Our primary goal is to establish attributes such as leadership skill, moral integrity, self-sufficiency, and confidence.
- As an enrichment program, Boys to Men also offers extracurricular activities and outings as part of character building.
"Boys to Men Has helped me through the struggles of South Central L.A., if “Boys to Men” can help me it, can help anyone."
Josue Damas, Honors graduate
"Boys to Men is the type of program that is needed at every middle school in LAUSD. The positive self-esteem demonstrated by the participants of'Boys to Men' exemplify the impact of this program."
Michael Smith, Director, Local District 7
“Boys to Men is the best program for middle school males that I have seen in my 38 years in LAUSD. It is Muir’s answer to gangs and dropping out."
